Dr. Angelina Piccoli is a dedicated veterinarian and a passionate advocate for accessible, affordable spay and neuter medicine.
A Colorado-based vet with deep roots in community care, Dr. Piccoli has spent her career ensuring pets receive the preventive care they deserve — regardless of their family’s financial situation.
After recognizing the lack of affordable sterilization services in her community, she founded SpayToday in Lakewood, Colorado.
SpayToday opened in 2009, and Dr. Piccoli performed thousands of high-volume spay and neuter surgeries — helping prevent tens of thousands of unwanted litters and reducing shelter intake across the Colorado front range.
Dr. Piccoli retired from SpayToday in 2019, passing leadership on to other capable hands.
Dr. Piccoli’s mission goes beyond clinic walls as she travels across the US and around the world to support and train other communities in building effective spay/neuter programs, emphasizing sustainability, high-quality surgery, and preventative health. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to animal welfare, community veterinary access, and the belief that every pet deserves a healthy start in life.

Nearly a decade ago, after moving from Santa Clarita to the Antelope Valley, Cas began noticing something that deeply unsettled her — stray animals lining the roads week after week, with no one stopping to help. It was a stark contrast to what she had known before, where a loose dog meant neighbors pulling over and stepping in. In the AV, the need felt constant, overwhelming, and largely unanswered.
What began as rescue work soon revealed a larger truth: we cannot rescue our way out of overpopulation. When LA County implemented managed intake policies in 2019, limiting shelter admissions without providing meaningful resources in return, Cas realized the community needed something sustainable. She advocated locally, petitioned city leadership, and ultimately decided that if the resource didn’t exist — she would build it.
Littlerock Pet Clinic was created not as a corporate hospital, but as a mission-driven solution. It exists to provide accessible, high-quality spay and neuter services to a community that desperately needs them. While keeping the lights on and the rent paid is necessary, the purpose has always been clear: help animals and prevent suffering before it starts.
As a single mom, Cas balances motherhood, rescue, and clinic leadership with the support of a close-knit village of friends and team members who have become family. She believes deeply in creating platforms that allow others to serve, grow, and make an impact alongside her.
For Cas, the work is hard — but it is never heavy without purpose. Every day is another opportunity to create the resource the Antelope Valley deserves.

Kasey – Lead Registered Veterinary Technician
Kasey has been working in the veterinary field for 9 years, with the past 7 years dedicated specifically to high-volume spay and neuter surgery and traveling clinic work. Her experience and passion for accessible veterinary care make her an invaluable part of the team.
Kasey is deeply committed to helping animals and the people who care for them. She believes strongly in the impact that spay and neuter programs have on reducing pet overpopulation and supporting communities with affordable veterinary services. That passion is what has kept her dedicated to this field for so many years.
Outside of the clinic, Kasey enjoys spending time outdoors horseback riding and off-roading. She has horses of her own, along with several dogs and cats, and animals have always been a central part of her life.
In addition to her veterinary work, Kasey serves in search and rescue and is a mounted member of the Sheriff’s Posse team. Being able to combine her love of horses with service to her community is something she takes great pride in.

Ashley has known from a young age that she wanted to work with animals and has spent years seeking hands-on experience to better understand her place in veterinary medicine.
She began at the Los Angeles Zoo as a student volunteer, studying biology and animal care while leading educational tours. She later completed an internship working directly with a variety of species, gaining experience in wild animal management and teaching children about wildlife, ecosystems, and the importance of curiosity and respect for the natural world.
Ashley is deeply drawn to the problem-solving side of medicine and feels a strong purpose in advocating for animals who cannot speak for themselves. Spay and neuter work is especially important to her, as she understands that prevention is key to addressing overpopulation and reducing suffering in our community.
She loves the mission-driven environment at Littlerock Pet Clinic and the team’s commitment to creating change in the Antelope Valley.
Her favorite animal is the red-flanked duiker, one of the first exotic species she helped care for. At home, she has a rescue dog named Ellie, who now lives a safe, loved, and very spoiled life.
